Mohammad Azadi received his BSc in mechanical engineering from Shiraz University, Shiraz, Iran, in 2006. He then received his MSc degree from K.N. Toosi University of Technology, Tehran, Iran in 2008. He also recieved his PhD degree from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran in 2013. During his PhD thesis, he become a visiting researcher in Chair of Mechanical Engineering, University of Leoben (Montanuinversitaet), Leoben, Austria in 2011.

He has worked in Irankhodro Powertrain Company (IPCO) for 7 years, from 2008. He was the project manager of the TC7 turbo-charged national engine project, which will be launched on the Soren vehicle as a new product in Irankhodro Industrial Group. However, he is currently Assistant Professor in Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Semnan University, Semnan, Iran (from 2015 to now).
